Built a few years ago at the base of the hills, it has a small catchment and gives us a croc-free swimming hole. We plan to grow an orchard at the bottom of the dam wall in the future.
It has been leaking and drops its height quickly when the rain stops, and we have been working on it ever since. In late 2022 we drained it again and got in an excavator to dig through the wall as deep as it could, and then pack down. Unfortunately it is still leaking.
